To help make your day out as safe and trouble free as possible, we provide helmets free of charge with your hire, as well as a rucksack complete with puncture kit, tools, maps, pump and lock.

Budleigh - Exmouth Cycle Route
Cycle from Budleigh through to Exmouth, where there is a railway link to Exeter, along what was the old railway line. You can join the route mid-way, just past the village of Knowle, where you can cycle to Budleigh or Exmouth. This route is largely off road. It is approximately 5 miles each way. There are plenty of opportunities along the route to stop for a picnic.

Lympstone Loop via Budleigh and Otterton
From Lympstone this follows the Exe Estuary Trail, Exmouth to Budleigh cycle path, and Budleigh to Otterton route (all largely off-road). It then skirts to the north of Woodbury Common avoiding the worst of the hills, back to Woodbury and Lympstone. This scenic route is approximately 20 miles and will take about 2 hours. Exe Estuary Circular
From Exmouth via cycle path to Lympstone, main road through Lympstone, Exton and Ebford to Topsham; water taxi from Topsham to the other side of the Exe then off road to Starcross, with ferry (cost £5) back to Exmouth. This scenic route is approximately 16 miles and will take about 1.5 hours. You can print a map of the route here.
